Rep Builder is a tool for performing isotonic repetitions using real time movement data. It captures the key elements of each rep, including range of motion, timing, rhythm, control, and consistency, and provides immediate feedback during the repetition to improve and maintain control. The system shows how these qualities change during a set, making the structure of dynamic exercise visible through movement deviation, control drift, pattern shifting, and how closely the user follows the intended movement behavior.
The software uses an adjustable guide that defines the desired repetition pattern. The guide is not a fixed cadence, but a continuously defined movement pattern that can be configured to shape position and timing throughout the range of motion. The user performing the reps follows this guide rep by rep, and the live display shows how closely their movement aligns with the desired position at each moment. Rather than collapsing performance into averages, repetition behavior is shown as it evolves across the set, revealing timing drift, velocity instability, and degradation in pattern compliance.
Rep Builder continues to be developed through collaboration. Its behaviors, displays, and timing logic come from years of input from practitioners who wanted controlled, consistent, and measurable repetitions. The software exists because collaborators asked for it, use it, and help direct its evolution. Rep Builder continues to grow as collaborators contribute ideas that strengthen the discipline.
